After obtaining a piano diploma at the HEMU in Lausanne, the Swiss soprano L\u00e9onie Renaud began her vocal studies at the Hochschule der K\u00fcnste Bern in Janet Perry’s class. During her studies, she was the recipient of numerous scholarships and foundations.<\/p>\n

During the 2012-2013 season, she is a trainee soloist at the CNIPAL in Marseille. She benefits from the artistic contribution of personalities such as Edith Mathis, Patricia Petibon and Vladimiras Prudnikovas.<\/p>\n

She won a special prize at the\u00a0Spoleto International Competition<\/strong>\u00a0(Italy) and 3rd Prize at the Paris Opera Awards.<\/p>\n

After being Frasquita Carmen on stage at the\u00a0Bregenz Festival in 2018<\/strong>, she was invited back the following year for Rigoletto and Don Quixote, two new productions released on DVD by Unitel and accompanied by the Wiener Symphoniker and conducted by Enrique Mazzola and Daniel Cohen.
\nShe made her debut at the\u00a0Shanghai Grand Theatre<\/strong>\u00a0as Marie La Fille du R\u00e9giment alongside Alessandro Corbelli.
\nShe was invited to create the opera Der herzlose Riese with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by David Niemann in which she played the title role.<\/p>\n

She plays Sophie in Werther at the operas of Metz, Massy and Reims, a production broadcast on France 3. She is Maria Luisa in La Belle de Cadix and Pauline in La Vie Parisienne at the\u00a0Op\u00e9ra de Lausanne<\/strong>. She sang Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos at the Toulon and Lucerne opera houses, Gretel in H\u00e4nsel und Gretel and Blondchen in L’Enl\u00e8vement au S\u00e9rail at the Metz Opera.<\/p>\n

Recently, she performed at the\u00a0Op\u00e9ra National de Lorraine<\/strong>\u00a0in Nancy in La Belle H\u00e9l\u00e8ne, was Frasquita at the Massy opera, Eurydice in Berlioz’s version of Orph\u00e9e et Eurydice and Marzelline in Fidelio at the Metz opera, Ottilie in l’Auberge du Cheval blanc at the Op\u00e9ra de Reims She has just sung a new production of Pell\u00e9as et M\u00e9lisande under the direction of Victorien Vanoosten with the Ensemble Symphonique Neuch\u00e2tel. She gave a “Cabaret” recital at the Marseille and Avignon operas.<\/p>\n

L\u00e9onie Renaud has worked with conductors such as Antonino Fogliani, Jordan de Souza, David Reiland, Stefan Blunier, Benjamin Pionnier,\u00a0Laurent Campellone, Thomas R\u00f6sner, Facundo Agudin, Victorien Vanoosten. She has taken part in numerous festivals, including Sao\u00fbt sings Mozart’s The Abduction from the Seraglio, Murten Classics in Mahler’s 4th, Orfeo ed Euridice and The Magic Flute, the Besan\u00e7on Festival in Dvorak’s Stabat Mater and the Festival du M\u00e9jan in Arles accompanied by Marie-Jos\u00e8phe Jude.<\/p>\n

She has been invited to sing in prestigious concert halls such as\u00a0Salle Gaveau<\/strong>, the\u00a0Mozarteum<\/strong>\u00a0in Salzburg, the\u00a0Tonhalle<\/strong>\u00a0in Zurich, Pollack Hall in Montreal, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Arsenal in Metz and the\u00a0KKL<\/strong>\u00a0in Lucerne.
\nHer great interest in symphonic music gave her the opportunity to sing Berlioz Les Nuits d’\u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0under the direction of Theodor Guschlbauer, whom she met again for\u00a0Die Sch\u00f6pfung Haydn with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg.\u00a0<\/strong>
\nHer next engagements for the coming season include\u00a0La Boh\u00e8me (Musetta)<\/strong>\u00a0under the direction of Facundo Agudin as well as several concerts and recitals and a CD recording with pianist Sascha El Mouissi.<\/p>\n<\/div>
