We could hear her at the Gala \u201cL\u2019amour \u00e0 l\u2019op\u00e9ra ou les mots|maux d\u2019amour\u201d (Op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec) and during multiple concerts as a guest soloist with major orchestras, ensembles and choirs of the province, as well as during a tour in China, organized by the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques (JAL) and in Belgium with the Brussels International Singers as well as the I Musici Brucellensis orchestra.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jessica&#8217;s recent opera appearances include the role of Louise (<i>Messe solennelle pour une pleine lune d&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9<\/i>, C.Thomas\/M.Tremblay &#8211; world premiere) &#8211; Quebec Opera Festival; of Anna (<i>Nabucco<\/i>, Verdi) &#8211; Op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec; the Lilac Fairy (<i>Peau d\u2019\u00e2ne<\/i>, J-F Mailloux &#8211; creation) &#8211; Quebec Opera Festival; Blanche de la Force (<i>Dialogues des Carmelites<\/i>, Poulenc) and \u00c9cho (<i>\u00c9cho et Narcisse<\/i>, Gluck) &#8211; at Laval University (during doctor degree); Clotilde (<i>Norma<\/i>, Bellini) &#8211; Op\u00e9ra de Rimouski; Donna Anna (Don Giovanni, Mozart) &#8211; Accademia Europea dell&#8217;Opera di Lucca (Italy). She was also an understudy for the roles of Donna Anna and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni, Mozart) at the Op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec, and by Marguerite (Faust, Gounod) at the Quebec Opera Festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Upcoming engagements include Rosaline (<i>The Bat<\/i>, J. Strauss) &#8211; Op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec; La Baronne de Gondremarck (<i>La vie parisienne<\/i>, J. Offenbach) &#8211; Op\u00e9ra bouffe du Qu\u00e9bec; <i>La Dame de Monte-Carlo <\/i>(Poulenc) and <i>Sheherazade <\/i>(Ravel) &#8211; Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean Symphony Orchestra; the Chocolats Symphoniques concert &#8211; Orchestre symphonique de Qu\u00e9bec; <i>Gloria <\/i>(Vivaldi) &#8211; Ensemble Dal Segno;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Jessica holds a vocal arts degree (doctorate) at Laval University (2022) under the direction of internationally acclaimed baritone, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Lapointe. She is 2021 <i>Sandra and Alain Bouchard Foundation <\/i>grant holder. She is also the winner of the Prix Poulenc 2021 co-offered by Les Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques and l\u2019Association des amis de Francis Poulenc (Paris).
