Pascale Beaudin began her career on stage with the Atelier Lyrique de l\u2019Opera de Montreal. She appears on operatic stages in Canada (Op\u00e9ra de Montr\u00e9al, Opera Lyra Ottawa, Op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec), in France (Angers-Nantes Op\u00e9ra, Op\u00e9ra de Marseille, Op\u00e9ra National de Lorraine, Op\u00e9ra de Metz) and the United States (Opera Lafayette) in roles such as Zerlina, Papagena, Fiordiligi, Oscar, Ad\u00e8le de Formoutiers and Nannetta. The New York Times praised her shimmering voice and girlish sassiness, while the Washington Post music critic reported that she sang “… the aria ‘Per pieta’ with such deliberate quiet elegance and restraint that it was a highlight not just of the evening, but also of my year.”<\/p>\n

Beaudin\u2019s incomparable diction, intelligent musicality and expressivity make her ideal for concert and recital work. In addition to being a permanent member of the Four Nations Ensemble, Mrs. Beaudin collaborates with many orchestras, namely the Orchestre M\u00e9tropolitain, l\u2019Orchestre Symphonique de Qu\u00e9bec, Les Violons du Roy, I Musici de Montr\u00e9al, the Ensemble Contemporain de Montr\u00e9al, the McGill Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre de la Francophonie, the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de musique contemporaine du Qu\u00e9bec, Les Id\u00e9es Heureuses, Montr\u00e9al Baroque, the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019art vocal de Montr\u00e9al, the Centre international de m\u00e9lodie fran\u00e7aise de Tours and the Orchestre r\u00e9gional de Cannes. She has been invited to perform in music festivals such as the Festival de Lanaudi\u00e8re, the Festival d\u2019op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec, the Montreal Bach Festival, the Festival des musiques sacr\u00e9es de Marseille, the Festival du Domaine Forget.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Beaudin is one of 6 singers featured on the critically acclaimed 5-disc release “M\u00e9lodies compl\u00e8tes de Francis Poulenc” with pianist Olivier Godin, on the Atma label.<\/p>\n

Proud of her Acadian heritage, Pascale Beaudin frequently performs at home, with Symphony New Brunswick and Opera New Brunswick, as well as at the Lam\u00e8que International Baroque Music Festival, the Indian River Chamber Music Festival and the Barachois Summer Music Festival.<\/p>\n

Pascale Beaudin has received national recognition with government grants from the Canada Arts Council, the Conseil des arts et lettres du Qu\u00e9bec and the Jacqueline Desmarais Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/div>
